Welcome and bright suns from a technology loving, results-driven Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer.

Growing up I was most frequently found using my imagination to be creative and explore the world around me. I found inspiration in sci-fi shows and movies of the day, even to the point where I majored in science because of the influences from my childhood. Certain space themed shows were my go-to, and I was fascinated by the amazing technologies the science and medical officers used on a regular basis. I still love watching reruns where you are encouraged to live long and prosper and remain an avid fan of galaxies far, far away to this day.

When I’m not designing projects I love spending time with my family, reading, exploring new topics, playing video games, and of course staying up to date with favored shows in expanded universes.

Coming from an education background in which I worked with older students provided me with insight in what keeps attention and a background in both learning and presentation of material in an engaging manner.  Working in a deadline heavy environment has enabled me to prioritize and strategize.  Moving from social work and education to instructional design allows me to  use these traits while still incorporating the skills that I love in design on a whole new level.
